Hi, I'm Virgile
92 short videos last month, 760K views, one peak at 209K. Every video comes out of one of the structures below. This is my actual working file, with my real hooks and the rules I earned by failing.
My actual BlitzReels exports
The finding that rules everything
On my own numbers, a personal story beats a tutorial by about 6 to 1. "I did X, here's what happened" crushes "How to do X". Before using any script, reframe your topic as a lived story if you can.
The 3 blocks, never more
HOOK (2 s) then BODY (30-45 s, ONE idea) then CTA (one ask). Write like you talk. Read it out loud. One stumble = one scroll.
10 script structures (fill in the blanks)
- 1
The question that stings.
"Tired of {painful task}?" then step 1, step 2, result on screen, CTA. My most reliable structure. The question filters the audience in half a second: the people it stings stay, the rest scroll, and that's exactly what you want.
Example
"Tired of losing your Sunday cutting one podcast into clips? Here's my 20-minute version. Step one: drop the YouTube link. Step two: pick the moments the AI flags. Step three: export all ten. Your Sunday is yours again — link in bio."
- 2
The dated confession.
"I did {mistake} for {duration}." What it cost, the turning point, the new way, "don't do what I did." A real duration makes it credible: "for 2 years" beats "for ages". The confession earns trust a tutorial never gets.
Example
"I edited every video on my phone for a year. One clip took me an evening, so I published once a week and the algorithm forgot me. The day I switched to a desktop workflow I went to one clip per day. Don't do what I did."
Put it to work
The ideas are free. Publishing daily is the game.
BlitzReels turns your long videos into captioned vertical clips and generates faceless videos from a prompt. It's the tool I built to hold my own daily pace.
7 days free, card required. One export is enough to judge.
Works with your agents
Claude, Cursor, or any MCP agent can drive BlitzReels for you: import a video, pick the clips, caption, and export — from a single prompt.
